Our Commitment
We want everyone to be able to use this website. That includes people who rely on assistive technology, such as screen readers, magnification, voice control, or keyboard-only navigation. Accessibility isn't a one-time project for us. It's something we keep working on as the site grows.
Conformance Target
We aim for the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA, and we review the site against that standard on a regular basis. We'll be honest: we're working toward full conformance, and we don't claim the site is perfect. When we find something that falls short, we fix it.
What We Do
To make the site easier to use, we build it with accessibility in mind. That means we:
- Use semantic HTML so the page structure makes sense to assistive technology
- Write descriptive alt text for meaningful images
- Support keyboard navigation so you don't need a mouse to get around
- Aim for sufficient color contrast between text and backgrounds
- Label form fields so it's clear what each one is for
- Use a responsive layout that works across phones, tablets, and desktops
Known Limitations
Some parts of the site rely on third-party embeds that we don't fully control. For example, the Google Maps service area map may not fully conform to our accessibility target. We work to limit these gaps, and we address issues as we find them. If a third-party feature gets in your way, please tell us and we'll help you get the information another way.
