Stormwater Regulatory Changelog
We track stormwater permit expirations, agency updates, and regulatory changes across South Carolina, Georgia, Florida, and North Carolina. Our automated monitoring pipeline checks every source monthly and applies verified updates to our compliance database. This page logs every change we've detected and applied.
Florida and North Carolina databases added
Added 3 NE Florida coastal counties (Duval, Nassau, St. Johns) with FDEP+SJRWMD dual-authority framework, CCCL permits, and SB 7040 nutrient standards
Added 3 SE North Carolina coastal counties (New Hanover, Brunswick, Pender) with CAMA AEC framework and density-based BUA approach
Monthly regulatory monitoring pipeline launched
Automated monthly checks for permit expirations, URL validity, and regulatory changes across all 4 states. Claude API researches changes and auto-applies verified updates.
Georgia database expanded
Added 6 coastal GA counties (Bryan, Camden, Chatham, Glynn, Liberty, McIntosh) with GA EPD oversight, GSWCC certification requirements, and CMPA/SPA coastal protections
South Carolina compliance checker launched
Initial launch with 8 coastal SC counties (Beaufort, Berkeley, Charleston, Colleton, Dorchester, Georgetown, Horry, Jasper) covering SCDES permits, OCRM coastal overlay, and all NPDES permit types
SC Construction General Permit expired
SC CGP (SCR100000) expired. SCDES has not yet reissued. Existing permittees remain covered under the expired permit until the new version is issued. Monitoring this monthly.
How This Works
Stormwater regulations change more often than most property owners realize. Permits expire, fee schedules get revised, and agencies reorganize. We built an automated monitoring system so our compliance data stays current without anyone needing to remember to check.
Scan
On the 1st of each month, our pipeline checks every regulatory source URL, permit expiration date, and agency website across all 4 states.
Verify
Detected changes are researched against official state and county sources. Only verified updates get applied to our compliance database.
Update
Verified changes are automatically applied to our state databases and the compliance checker. Every update is logged on this page.
